Intoxilyzer 8000 challenges
Congratulations to Arizona DUI attoneys who appear to be in the driver’s seat to force CMI to release the source code for the Intoxilyzer 8000. Judges in most states, including Florida, have declined to make CMI release the software for the machine so we can see what makes it work and why the codes are different in different areas of the country. We will be attending the Masters Of DUI conference of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys in Las Vegas in September. Nationally, we are making this a priority to make CMI and the states release their ’secret’ codes and why they are so afraid for us to get them. Also, watch for motions in Sarasota by prominent DUI attorney Robert Harrison on new information that he has obtained on the 8000.
